Artesanos has been importing handmade/hand painted Talavera Tile for over 51 years. Talavera Tile is a home made, hand painted clay and glazed product. Installations should be indoors or outdoor in frost free environments. Tiles should not made for flooring installations, they’re made for ornamental partitions, again splashes, wainscoting, toilet counter tops and ornamental areas; not advisable for kitchen counter tops.There’ll all the time be variation in colour heaps, and will have some crazing (crackle have an effect on within the glaze). That is NOT a defect within the tile. With a home made tile, the sizing can differ barely as nicely. ¼” grout joints are advisable to counteract the sizing variables. Sanded grout is required.
